1. Who we are

Focus Timer is made by Froggy Eye Ltd, an independent app studio registered in the United Kingdom. For anything in this policy, contact info@froggyeye.com.

This policy covers the Focus Timer mobile application. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

2. What Focus Timer stores, and where

Everything Focus Timer needs to work is kept in local storage on your device:

• Task information — task titles, descriptions, start times, durations and completion status.
• Focus reasons — the personal reasons you add for staying focused on a task.
• App preferences — your settings and preferences within the app.
• Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription or trial, as confirmed by Google Play.

This data is stored using secure on-device storage and is not transmitted to our servers — we do not operate any server that holds your personal data.

3. What we do not collect

Focus Timer does not collect:

• Personal identification information
• Location data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Usage analytics or behavioural data

The app does not track you across other apps or websites, and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track signals — there is nothing to switch off.

4. Calendar access

If you choose to import tasks from your device calendar, the app asks for permission to read your calendar. That data is:

• Only accessed when you explicitly choose to import events
• Processed entirely on your device
• Never transmitted to external servers
• Never stored beyond the import itself — only the tasks you create from it are kept

You can decline the permission and use every other feature of the app normally, and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings.

5. In-app purchases

When you make a purchase or start a subscription in Focus Timer:

• All payment processing is handled securely by Google Play, subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• We do not collect or store your payment information
• We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Google Play

6. Notifications

Task reminders are local notifications, scheduled and shown by your device itself. No notification data is transmitted externally, and you can turn them off in your device settings at any time.

7. Data storage, security and retention

• All your data is stored locally on your device and protected by your device's built-in security features.
• Your data is retained for as long as you have the app installed.
• You can delete individual tasks at any time inside the app.
• If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is deleted.

8. Your rights and choices

Because everything is stored on your device, you are in complete control of your information:

• Access — view all your data within the app.
• Delete — remove any or all tasks and data through the app's interface.
• Uninstall — remove the app and all associated data from your device.

If you are in the UK or EU, rights under data-protection law (access, rectification, erasure and so on) mostly apply to data a company holds about you. Froggy Eye Ltd holds none for Focus Timer, but you can still contact us at info@froggyeye.com with any request or question.

9. Children

Focus Timer is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — as described above, we do not collect personal information from anyone. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal data by email, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how Focus Timer handles data, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. You are advised to review this policy periodically. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
